GoodBarber allows you to create full customized, beautiful apps, in just a few clicks. Among the hundreds of other features, we implemented an icon coloration process, which you can use to create beautiful design effects.  We chose to let you choose amongst a large icon set — you can even upload your own TabBar icons — and you can imagine that it was completely impossible to anticipate all the customization possibilities. So we started to think about an automated customization process for these icons, and we wanted to keep a standard-based icon set (white PNGs with alpha channel only). So here is what we developed to color the icons directly in the native client applications, with just a white PNG and a hexa color.

Since last week, the Android beta is opened on GoodBarber. You probably noted that new options have appeared in your backend: in expert mode, you can now upload a specific icon and a specific splash screen for your Android app. In order to set up properly the sharing options in your app, you need to set up a new parameter in the Facebook and Twitter apps you have already created. Here is a little summary of the modifications you have to apply to your social apps if you have already created them.

There is still work to be done. This is the reason why we say this is a beta. But you’ll see, the result is already fantastic! If you want, you can even submit your app on Google Play. If you do so, take the time to review your app before publishing. Hey, it’s a beta ;) Last thing, remember that every Tuesday, we update GoodBarber with new features. Le Radio show ended yesterday in Paris. These three days have been an opportunity for us to gather lots of ideas to improve GoodBarber, in order to make it the best solution for creating mobile applications for radio stations. GoodBarber has developped 25 connectors (and counting) to retrieve your articles, photos, videos, events, sounds, tweets, …well, you get the idea :) Use them to put all your content at your users's fingertips. The idea is simple. From your backend, different sections can be created in your app. Each section corresponds to a type of content. Bloggers, this theme is for you. Use it to unify your web presence. It was especially crafted for those publishing a high volume of content : news, videos, photos, podcasts, etc. Looking at the root view, you see that our designer chose a tab bar for the navigation.  But you notice that Blow has also a sub-navigation, with a "circle band", at the top of the screen. Very useful to offer a clear navigation among a lot of content. In the detailed view, the tool bar is at the bottom. Select the option you want to propose. It's been exactly once week now, since we have widely opened GoodBarber 2 beta to the public. We are very exited because, everyday, many of you try it and give their feedback. It helps us to speed up the pace to stabilize GoodBarber 2, so that it is rolled out earlier than expected.
